Jacob, aka MazySuzan, is a Detroit-based connector, creative, and community organizer whose art delves deep into the essence of play and exploration.
A graduate of the University of Michigan with a lifelong passion for creating, Jacob specializes in crafting mesmerizing mazes that invoke introspection and joy, connecting audiences with their forgotten youthful exuberance. I’ve loved to draw for as long as I can remember. My mother would be quick to tell you that doodling was how I’d calm myself down as a little boy; and it wasn’t uncommon for her to find me in my bed, passed out on a half-drawn maze, pencil in hand.
Over the years, my doodling has taken many winding paths, pushing the boundaries of what maze art can be. Getting lost in twisty curves remains a reliable happy place for me to this day!
